Milkshake is to air a special episode of hit pre-school show Peppa Pig where the character meets the Queen.
It will mark the first time in the show's history that a human character will be featured in the popular series.
In the upcoming episode - which will air on Channel 5's Milkshake at 8.15am on Monday June 4th - Miss Rabbit is selected to receive an award from the Queen, with Peppa and her friends accompanying her to the palace.
The special episode starts a run of 13 new Peppa Pig shows on Milkshake.
On June 4th, Milkshake presenters will also be joined in the studio by a Peppa Pig costume character for a Jubilee party. Families wishing to join in the fun can download a range of party and activity assets from the Milkshake website including a Peppa Pig royal-themed colouring sheet, party invitation and guides to create your own cut out and keep bunting, flag and party hat.
There will also be a special online Peppa Pig competition running from June 4th to coincide with the Jubilee weekend and the launch of the new episodes.
"As a British production it's only fitting that Peppa Pig pays tribute to the Queen and we couldn't resist the opportunity to put her in the show," said Phil Davies, producer of Peppa Pig. "We hope that everyone enjoys watching the episode as much as we enjoyed making it, and that it gets kids into the Jubilee party spirit."
