Planeta Junior boosts Kikoriki

Numerous deals inked for cartoon property across accessories, textiles and decoration cakes.

Planeta Junior has secured a number of new deals for its Kikoriki property.

First up, Apunis - already a licensee for other Planeta Junior brands including Maya the Bee and Pippi Longstocking - will be producing a line of clothing for babies and children, including hats, scarves, gloves and bathrobes.

Co & Co, meanwhile, will be producing various textiles including bed sets, duvet covers, bedspreads and bed linen for the brand, while Modecor Group will create numerous cake decorations.

Kikoriki was created in Russia in 2005, with Planeta Junior being the exclusive agent in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece and Cyprus.

Elsewhere, the company has appointed Star SpA as a new partner on its Marilyn Monroe programme, while porcelain specialist Tognana has been signed for Cow Parade and Marilyn Monroe.
