Playmobil's Super 4 to grow licensing portfolio with Evolution USA

Following the launch of the core toy line, Evolution will develop partner in publishing, apparel, video games and more.

Evolution USA has been appointed the licensing, merchandising and promotional agency for the Playmobil-inspired animated series, Super 4.

The firm will represent both the CGI adventure series and the Playmobil toy brand across the US and will premiere both to potential partners at this year’s Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.

Evolution plans to launch a retro-styled Playmobil line of fashion apparel, accessories, novelty, gift and paper goods targeted at young adults and juniors. The range is scheduled to makes it debut in spring next year.

Inspired by the 41 year old Playmobil toy brand, Super 4 is currently being broadcast on Netflix in the US. The toy firm is already handling the master toy line for the series and will launch its collection of Super 4 play-sets this autumn.

Following the core toy introduction, Evolution plans to expand Super 4 into publishing, video games, novelty toys and games, apparel, gifts and more.
