Plus Licens has picked up the merchandising rights for the 20th Century Fox film Dragonball: Evolution in the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe.
Due for release in April, the film is based on the popular Japanese manga created by Akira Toriyama, whose work spans graphic novels, video games and TV series.
The live action adventure centres on a team of warriors, each of whom possesses special abilities.
The international merchandising programme for Dragonball: Evolution includes Bandai as the master toy licensee, Namco Bandai for electronic games and Panini for collectable stickers and albums.
Promotional partners in the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe include Burger King.
Plus Licens also represents the classic Dragonball anime franchise in the territories (click here for story).
"The upcoming live action adaptation from Fox should represent a new and powerful chapter in the long success story of Dragonball in our territories," offered Eva Brannstrom, executive VP at Plus Licens.
