Plus Licens renews Dreamworks deal

Firm now representing animation properties in Nordic countries as well as Eastern Europe.

Plus Licens has renewed its agreement with Dreamworks Animation.

The firm's current deal covers the merchandising, publishing and promotional rights for the upcoming films How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek Forever After and Oobermind in Eastern Europe (excluding Belarussia, Albania and Kosovo), the merchandising and publishing rights for Shrek Forever After in the Nordic countries, plus the merchandising and publishing rights for the animated TV series The Penguins of Madagascar in Eastern Europe and the Nordic countries.

Dreamworks' properties will now be available in 32 countries through Plus Licens.

"Plus Licens has been working with Dreamworks Animation since 2000 and has, through the years, had fantastic experiences with powerhouse properties like Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda," said Kerstin Ahlberg, brand manager for Dreamworks at Plus Licens in Stockholm.

"These films have been impressive hits worldwide, especially in Eastern Europe. We are happy to be able to continue our successful cooperation, now also working with the market leading Shrek franchise throughout all our territories."
