The licensing programme for Future Games of London's Hungry Shark property is up and running.
Battle Ant has signed up to produce a range of plush based of the popular app.
The firm was established by Steve Manley, who worked on initial short run solutions for Crazy Frog among others. It focuses specifically on the games and gaming market.
"We are always looking for hot new brands and Hungry Shark fits the bill perfectly," Manley commented. "We will be working closely with FGOL to deliver real quality merchandise that reflects the character and humour inherent in the property.
"With the gaming and merchandising sectors converging like never before, there is a lot of demand out there for Battle Ant's services, so this fantastic new deal promises to be the first of many."
Hungry Shark has recorded 35 million downloads via iOS and Android over the last two years. New content is released regularly by FGOL, with the portfolio including Parts 1, 2 and 3, as well as a trilogy of all three games for iPad which can be hooked up to HDTV.
