Ratings were up with boys, compared to Disney (Cars Movie) by seven per cent with boys aged two to 11 and by 34 per cent with the boys aged six to 11 category.
Overall, the 8pm episode earned a 4.53 kids aged two to 11 rating, 5.39 boys aged two to 11 rating, a 5.06 kids six to 11 rating and a 6.10 boys six to 11 rating and delivered 2.8 million total viewers.
Perhaps due to its heritage appeal, the launch brought in solid adult audiences too, earning a 0.57 adults 18 to 49 rating and a 0.61 male 18 to 49 rating, which is an increase of eight per cent and 61 per cent year-on-year, respectively.
On Nick.com, the Power Rangers experienced triple digit weekly growth in online metrics and the Nick.com game, 'Rangers Together, Samurai Forever', brought in more than a million game sessions in its first five days and is currently the number one game across Nick Digital (Thu-Mon).
