The workshops will run throughout August as part of Classic Media's ‘Summer Fun Starts Here’ campaign.
The creative workshop, inspired by the Tinga Tinga Tales series, which airs on CBeebies, will run for one day at each centre offering children the chance to paint their very own Tinga Tinga Tales tile, choosing from six stencils that each represent the show’s six key characters.
The painted tiles will be displayed as a moving wall collage throughout the day and on collection children will receive a Tinga Tinga Tales bag in which to take home their art, plus other goodies, including an exclusive Tinga Tinga Tales DVD featuring two episodes.
The workshops are expected to attract around 3,000 children in total and will generate brand exposure to over 300,000 Westfield visitors over the run of the campaign.
The events will be supported with a marketing campaign including in-centre posters, digitals displays, online, e-marketing, direct mail and regional PR.
Anja Hendriks, senior director, marketing, Classic Media said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Westfield on its ‘Summer Fun Starts Here’ campaign, the centres are a perfect way for us to reach out to thousands of families across the UK.
"Feedback from our recent Legoland event was fantastic and we look forward to sharing the Tinga Tinga Tales art workshop experience with young fans at Westfield throughout the summer."
