Target has appointed PRO Entertainment as licensing agent for its pre-school brand Fluffy Gardens in Brazil and Argentina.
PRO is well established in developing licences in the entertainment and sports businesses. Through its offices in Argentina, Brazil and China, it represents licensors such as MGM and Nickelodeon, and brands such as Peanuts, Hi-5 and Miffy.
"As a leading licensing ageny in these territories, PRO Entertainment has the experience and network of partners to develop a successful licensing programme for Fluffy Gardens," said Richard Oren, Target's VP of licensing US, Canada and Latin America, who brokered the deal.
"We look forward to working with them on this and other properties in the future."
Martin Lanusse, country manager from PRO's Brazil office, added: "We are proud to have Target Entertainment as a new partner and we are ready to start working on our new property Fluffy Gardens."
Fluffy Gardens launched last year and currently airs on Discovery Kids where it rates as a top ten pre-school show. The 2D digital cell animation features a mix of animal characters including Floella the Fruitbat, Paolo the Cat and Chuckles the Chicken.
