Bob the Builder Magazine is celebrating its 200th issue with a national competition, allowing nurseries and schools to win a visit from the iconic character.

Bob will visit three UK schools or nurseries picked at random from online nominations by parents.

Everyone at the three winning schools will also receive a free copy of the children's magazine.

The bi-centennial issue of Bob the Builder Magazine features activities for readers including pencil practice in a writing and letters workbook.

It also includes a sticker sheet and a healthy eating reward chart, alongside a make-it-yourself tool belt and free toy phone and keys.

Editor of Bob the Builder Magazine, Andrea Turton, said: "We are excited to celebrate the enduring popularity of Bob the Builder's world with a magazine which allows fans to join Bob's busy team.

"It's a great way to give something back to our readers with such a fantastic competition which we know will delight little fans."

The pre-school magazine launched in November 2000 and is published by Immediate Media Company on behalf of Hit Entertainment.

The 200th issue is now on sale and is priced at £2.50.
