Having been founded six years ago as a specialist children's illustration agency, a recent relaunch as the Bright Group has enabled the Bright Agency to specifically focus on publishing.

Names such as Harrods, Usborne and Random House look to Bright for illustration talent and the firm's artists have been behind a number of recent successes. For example, Smiliana Coh has done Glitterwings Academy for Bloomsbury and Lee Wildish is behind Mum and Dad Glue for Hachette Publishing.

"We represent artists and illustrators who specialise in artistic content for children's books," commented Bright MD, Vicki Willden-Lebrecht (pictured). "The quality of illustrations in kids' books is absolutely vital and publishers know that by coming to us we can offer them access to the best and brightest illustration talent in the UK.

"We now have a new website that will be totally dedicated to children's illustrations, so whether a client is looking for fantasy, teen boys or underwater pirates for the unders 5s, it can be found quickly and easily."

The new website is powered by Sparkle Box, an image sourcing tool which claims to provide a faster more productive method of securely exchanging illustrative content between artists and clients.
