Rachael Ellen Designs balloon range has proved to be one of Qualatex' best selling lines.

The company has revealed that four out of ten of its best-selling balloons feature the Rachael Ellen designs.

The foil balloon range's top sellers are its Pirate, Knight, Ballerina and Princess designs.

Qualatex will launch its first ever partyware range this month, featuring Rachael Ellen creations on paper plates, cups, napkins and table covers.

Michelle Comerford, head of sales and marketing for Qualatex, said: "We are absolutely thrilled with how the Rachael Ellen range is performing at retail.

"The cute and colourful characters have wide appeal, especially to women and particularly mums, and we are being approached by an increasing number of greetings and gifts retailers wanting to stock the range."

Kirsty Guthrie at KJG Licensing, licensing agent for Rachale Ellen Designs, said: "We are very pleased that these balloons have proved to be such a success.

"Qualatex has done a great job and the new partyware range will undoubtedly prove to be just as popular with consumers."

Rachael Ellen Designs was founded in 1997, producing a range of cards and stationery featuring designs from creator and founder Rachel Church.

The children's brand has since gathered multiple awards including Henries for Best Cute Range 2006, Best Children's Range 2008 and Best Cute Range 2011.

The products can be found in over 25 territories across the world and are particularly successful in Japan.
