Rachel Ellen Designs has appointed new licensing agency MHG Licensing to help build on its success in the UK market.
Founded in 1997, Ellen started painting greeting card designs at her kitchen table. Now the Nottingham-based company employs over 25 staff and produces a range of British manufactured greeting cards and stationery featuring Ellen's quirky characters.
Products can be found in over 25 territories across the world, being particularly popular in Japan.
MHG Licensing is the newly formed independent licensing agency from Melanie Humberstone-Garley. She has previously worked in senior commercial roles at firms including ITV Studios, Chorion, The Copyright Group and Entertainment Rights.
"We are very excited to start working with Mel, who apart from having a wealth of experience within the licensing industry, has a real understanding of the potential of what we have to offer, and above all great enthusiasm and genuine interest in the Rachel Ellen brand," said Ellen.
Humberstone-Garley added: "I am delighted to be able to work with Rachel and expand on the licensing success to date and move into new product categories especially softlines, apparel and potentially publishing."
