Ragdoll brands move into app sector
BBC Worldwide has unveiled two new apps for hit Ragdoll brands, Teletubbies and In the Night Garden.
Teletubbies: My First App features the characters from the show, along with the original music and voices. There are a range of games to play, all tailored to the child's level of engagement.
There is also a dedicated Parent's Zone which allows them to customise the app specifically for their children, including length of play and access to other content.
Meanwhile, In the Night Garden features a number of locations from the show - including the Stepping Stone Path and the Tombliboo Bush among others. Players are able to dance with their favourite characters, play counting games with the Pontipines or help Upsy Daisy catch her bed.
"We're delighted to offer our youngest fans an opportunity to engage with Teletubbies and In the Night Garden in a brand new way," said Robert Nashak, EVP of digital entertainment at BBC Worldwide. "With the unique style in which children of all abilities can play and learn with their favourite characters, we hope parents and toddlers alike will love the apps as much as we do."
Both apps are available now for £1.79 on iPhone and iPod Touch, or £2.39 on iPad.
