Rainbow eyes partners for Winx, Mia and Royal Academy at Bologna Book Fair

European animation studio, Rainbow is looking to expand its reach within the licensing and children’s publishing sectors.

The home of popular children’s brands Winx Club and Mia and Me, the firm is currently showcasing new content at the Bologna Licensing Fair and Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

Visitors to the Book Fair will have the chance to pitch for the publishing rights for Rainbow’s newest property, Royal Academy, while the studio will also be showcasing a new publishing plan for new titles Mia and Me season two and the upcoming Winx Club season seven.

Rainbow has recently secured a string of global publishing partners, including Schwager & Steinlein and Oetinger in Germany.

In Turkey, both the Winx club and Mia and Me magazines have been picked up by Panini, while Winx Club returns to Benelux as Big Balloon prepares to relaunch the comic magazine.
