Rainbow is heading to Bologna for Italy’s best-known trade fairs to present its portfolio of popular children’s properties.

The kids’ entertainment company will be highlighting new developments in its leading properties, Winx Club and Mia and me, at both the Licensing Trade Fair and the Children’s Book Fair.

As the only trade event in Italy dedicated to the business of subsidiary rights, Bologna Licensing Trade Fair kicked off yesterday (Monday, March 24th) and will run until Wednesday, March 26th.

Meanwhile, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair has been running annually since 1963 and takes place from Monday, March 24th to Thursday, March 27th.

This year sees the Winx Club celebrate its tenth anniversary with a portfolio of over 500 licenses and more than 6,000 products developed a year.

Likewise, Mia and me is now preparing to follow its on screen popularity with a strong licensing campaign that has already attracted big name licensees across a number of key categories, including toys, books and DVDs.
