Nurture Rights has secured Random House Children's Publishers UK as the new home for classic picture book, Dinosaur Roar.
The deal also sees the property expanded into an extensive new publishing programme, developed in association with the Natural History Museum.
Random House will relaunch the original classic picture book in April 2014 to coincide with the title's 20th anniversary, alongside the launch of a new website.
The ongoing publishing programme will include a Dinosaur Roar storybook range, colour and activity books, board books and novelty books.
The Natural History Museum, Random House and Nurture Rights are working closely together on the launch programme for 2014, which will feature an international travelling exhibition and a range of merchandise.
"We are delighted to be working with Random House Children's Publishers UK on Dinosaur Roar," said Peter Curtis, director of Nurture Rights. "Random House has an unparalleled global reputation in children's publishing and we look forward to developing an exciting range of Dinosaur Roar book with them for the worldwide market."
Sue Buswell, deputy publisher children's colour and licensing, Random House, added: "Drawing on the expertise of the UK's leading paleontologists, Dinosaur Roar offers a unique and unprecendented opportunity to explore the authentic world of dinosaurs for the youngest, most dinosaur-hungry children."
