RDF grows Mr Bean brand

Two new international agents appointed; apparel line licensed.

RDF Rights has hired two new international agents for Mr Bean.

Supermarcas Licenciamento E Gestao will represent the property in Brazil, while Euro Lizenzen will seek licensing partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Both agents are currently speaking to licensees and promotional partners to develop Mr Bean locally.

In addition to these two deals, RDF has licensed Clifton Trends to develop a complete line of apparel for men, women and children in India.

Clifton is currently working on designs and plans to launch into retail for Q3 2010.

Angeles Blanco, head of international licensing at RDF Rights, said: "We are delighted to be launching an exciting array of Mr Bean apparel. In India, Mr Bean is an extremely popular character and we are confident that the brand will continue to grow and evolve into other categories in the coming months."
