Roary races to Canada

Chapman?s pre-school series is crossing the Atlantic again to hit screens in Canada.

The latest deal will see Roary the Racing Car on Canadian children’s channel, Treehouse TV, from April 20th 2009.

The first 52 episodes of the smash-hit programme, will be narrated by US IndyCar racing hero, Sam Hornish Jr. for Canadian viewers. The series will air on weekdays at 2.45pm and on Sundays at 12.45pm.

Roary is a pre-school series combining cutting-edge CGI with stop-frame animation. Originated by Dave Jenkins, and designed and developed by Bob The Builder and Fifi and The Flowertots creator, Keith Chapman.

The series is consistently ranked as one of Five’s Milkshake! and Nick Jr’s top performing shows in the UK. The series is now sold to over 110 countries worldwide.
