Roobarb and Custard competition launches on Milkshake

Viewers given the chance to create a t-shirt in aid of PDSA charity.

Bulldog Licensing has revealed details of a new competition in aid of the PDSA featuring Roobarb and Custard.

Running on Milkshake, the competition is linked to the characters' roles as brand ambassadors for the animal charity. Viewers are being invited to create a picture showing the duo in training for the London Marathon.

The winning design will be used as inspiration for the design of the official t-shirt worn by runners, raising money for the charity through the marathon and other events.

The winner will also receive an iPad 2 pre-loaded with three Roobarb and Custard Too episodes, plus a set of books from Mogzilla. Ten runners up will also receive books.

"Roobarb and Custard Too is pulling in huge viewing figures for Channel Five and it's great that the PDSA is able to tap into this popularity to raise awareness of its work in caring for sick animals," said Rob Corney, MD at Bulldog Licensing. "Kids will love the challenge of designing their favourite characters in training and with some fantastic Roobarb and Custard prizes also on offer, this competition is sue to attract a lot of interest."
