Saban Brands appoints Doug Finberg as senior vice president of marketing

Saban Brands has appointed Doug Finberg as the company’s senior vice president of marketing.

In this newly created role, Finberg will provide strategic leadership for Saban Brands’ marketing, publicity, creative, promotions and digital departments.

Finberg joins Saban Brands as an expert in business and marketing strategies and execution for entertainment and licensing companies.

Most recently, Finberg served as executive vice president of marketing at MGM Studios, where he oversaw marketing initiatives for Skyfall and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

“Doug brings a wealth of experience to Saban Brands that will directly apply to our expanding portfolio,” said Elie Dekel, president of Saban Brands.

“His extensive experience in franchise management, consumer marketing and global theatrical motion pictures will bode well for our rapid global growth. We’re thrilled to welcome Doug to Saban Brands’ leadership team.”
