Saban Brands hires new managing director of strategic business development

Daniel Castle joins the team and will help build the business through strategic and organic growth.

Saban Brands has hired Daniel Castle as managing director of strategic business development.

In his new role, Castle’s will build the business through strategic and organic growth while expanding its reach through new licensing and business development as well as the acquisition of additional brands.

Based in New York City, Castle will work in close collaboration with president Elie Dekel to expand Saban Brands’ global reach.

Castle was formerly the vice president of international and business development at Iconix Brand Group, where he transformed the company’s global footprint through direct to retail and strategic partnerships.

Prior to Iconix, Castle was with In Private, a leading private label woven manufacturer, where he managed the mass market retail and department store accounts focusing on Target, Kohl’s and J.C. Penney.

"With his unparalleled experience in fashion and apparel brands combined with his strong ties in overseas markets across Europe and Asia, he is the perfect executive to help expand Saban Brands on a worldwide basis."
