Science Museum counts on Numberjacks

THE SCIENCE Museum and kids’ TV firm Open Mind Productions are teaming up to produce a range of dual-branded products based on pre-school hit Numberjacks.

The collaboration between the two companies will build on their shared values of helping children to have fun exploring the world through observation, creative thinking and problem solving. The line of educational toys and books will be rolled out next year.

“There is great synergy between the two brands – our aim, through out products, is to bring fun to exploration and learning and the message given to children and parents by Numberjacks does just this,” said Lucy McCredie, licensing manager for the Science Museum. “Together we aim to develop a range of products which are compelling and engaging.”

The deal is the latest in a string of agreements secured by Granada Ventures for Numberjacks. Ravensburger will be launching jigsaw puzzles this month, with more games to follow in 2008, while other licensees signed up include GB Eye, Gemma International, Zak Designs, Zap, Aykroyds & TDP and Samuel Eden & Sons.
