Second series of Mr Bean animation gets the green light

Tiger Aspect Productions due to deliver new episodes for 2014/2015.

A second series of the popular Mr Bean Animated Series is currently in production, Tiger Aspect has confirmed.

Production began in October 2013, with delivery scheduled for 2014/2015.

The 52 x 11-minute series follows on from the success of the first series which has been licensed in over 70 territories and continues to be a ratings winner for a host of international broadcasters.

Endemol Worldwide Distribution will handle TV sales internationally and pre-sales have already been agreed with CITV for the UK and Super RTL for Germany.

Rowan Atkinson will continue to voice the series.

"The production of this new Animated Series is well timed to launch during the 25th anniversary year of Mr Bean in 2015," commented Katherine Senior, executive producer. "We continue to be amazed by the longevity and global appeal of the brand which demonstrates the universal comedy of the character."
