Shaun the Sheep, the wool-covered Nick Park character, has now been spun into a giant 14-acre maze at National Forest Adventure Farm near Burton on Trent.

Sean Clarke, head of Aardman Rights, commented: "This is another great example of how well Shaun the Sheep fits with outdoor activities, family fun and the countryside."

Clarke also revealed there was potential for futher outdoor activity deals. He said: "We’re seeing more and more interest for partnerships in these areas, and it’s a really exciting, positive expansion for the brand."

Every child who successfully completes the maze will be rewarded with a Shaun the Sheep activity book.

Tom Robinson, co-owner of the farm, said: "Shaun is such a well-loved character with appeal to all ages. He was the natural choice to feature in our maize maze this year to celebrate the opening of the new National Forest Adventure Farm. The Shaun the Sheep Maize Maze is sure to be lots of fun."
