Ship & Duck, the online marketplace for brands, licensors and licensees, has refined and re-launched its platform after winning a £250,000 grant.
The grant was awarded by the UK Technology Strategy Board.
The firm has now rebranded its platform, offering the industry a place to connect, develop, produce and distribute products as The Licensing Marketplace.
Now armed with a simpler and faster user interface, users can connect network and navigate the platform “in much the same as LinkedIn but in a more visually interactive manner.”
Visitors to the site will also be able to initiate collaborations with partners and set up private online working environments for selected parties, as well as distribute the end product by connecting with buyers and distributers on the hub.
The service, initially launched in spring last year, is regarded as an ‘industry first’, and currently works with renowned brands including Aston Martin, Ford Motors, PGA Tour, WWF and more.
