Simon's Cat mobile game heading to Android and iOS

The digital comedy series, Simon's Cat will receive a mobile game that will hit iOS and Android this June, it has been announced by Endemol Shine UK.

The match 3 mobile game is developed and published by Strawdog Studios, and will be available to download for free with in-app purchases on android and iOS.

“We are always developing new and exciting ideas to entertain Simon's Cat fans and the upcoming game is going to be a really fun way to enjoy the antics of our mischievous furry friend," creator, SimonTofield commented.

In the last year, Simon’s Cat has seen 40% year-on-year growth on Facebook and is the biggest cat channel on YouTube with an 18% increase in views over the last 12 months hitting more than 840million views to-date. Twitter engagement has grown 16% in the last year and since launch on Instagram in May 2016, the brand has amassed more than 180k followers. The brand has a global presence in over 100 countries with over 250 products available worldwide across publishing and consumer products with 1.7m books sold in 30 countries.

Simon's Cat has also seen a iOS sticker pack launch, following the success of the full 13-minute colour film Off to the Vetand 20 black and white films, was released 09/01/17.
