The safer sun line of Simpsons' branded sun cream from Mercona has received a repeat listing from UK supermarket chain Tesco, following a successful soft launch into the market last year.
There are seven products in the line, ranging from SPF 15 up to SPF 50, plus an aftersun product.
"Tesco are keen to stock The Simpsons inspired Safer Sun range because it covers an identified gap in the market," said Sarah Dredge from Mercona. "The creative use of characters such as Bart, Lisa and Homer on the ergonomic bottles and fruity fragrance of the lotions, creams and sprays, transforms the usual laborious application of sun cream into an enjoyable activity for children and parents alike.
"This fun aspect of the product will be one of the key drivers in a PR campaign aimed at raising awareness and driving sales this summer."
