Smith & Brooks unveils new footwear division
Coinciding with its 25th anniversary, children's fashion apparel licensee Smith & Brooks is expanding with the launch of a new footwear division.
The company has already picked up over ten licences specifically for footwear include Toy Story, Angel Cat Sugar, Where's Wally? and Disney Princess.
It is now in discussions with key multi-product retailers and footwear specialists to deliver products from spring/summer 2012 onwards.
The new division will be headed up by Brian Hazelwood.
Smith & Brooks has relationships with a wide range of key licensors including BBC, Aardman, Nintendo and Sega, working with licences as broad as Disney and Thomas the Tank Engine through to DC Comics and Sonic.
Over 95 per cent of its business is with UK retailers. In 2010/11, sales were in excess of 4.6 million units.
