Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has struck a multi-property licensing agreement with Insert Coin, to produce a range of video game apparel and accessories.

Insert Coin has taken the rights to develop products for a number of brands from SCEE's portfolio including the PS3 action title, The Last of Us, the award winning God of War and Killzone franchises, PaRapper The Rapper and Little Big Planet.

The firm will also develop products for the Sony Playstation brand which celebrates its 20th anniversary next year.

Insert Coin has made a name for itself by refusing to work from style guides, instead letting their direct experience of playing the games influence the product designs.

The first SCEE licensed products are available to buy now from www.insertcoinclothing.com. A further range including t-shirts, shirts, hoodies and more will be added to the collection throught the year.

David Evans, European licensing manager, Sony computer Entertainment Europe, said: "Insert Coin has demonstrated a true passion for our brands and have presented a new licensing model that taps in to the current trend for personalisation and provide a nice alternative to the literal application of licensed brands on apparel.

"Insert coin's approach is very smart and we're excited to see the impact that it will have on our business."

Dan Long, head of communications, Insert Coin, added: "We are so proud to be working with SCEE on these new ranges.

"PlayStation is a cornerstone of gaming history and to be part of its ongoing journey is amazing. SCEE has been incredibly supportive and believes in our mission to make subtle products that gamers will appreciate and love - and that take their experience to the next level."
