Spearmark adds head of product and marketing

Former Disney manager arrives at licensed lunchware, tableware and lighting specialist.

Spearmark International has bolstered its team with the arrival of Nikki Tompkins as its new head of product and marketing.

Tompkins joins the firm from Disney, where she was manager across a range of categories including melamine and lunchware, gifting, home décor and accessories. She has also spent time as a toy buyer at Mothercare.

"My position at Spearmark has opened up a wealth of opportunities, their product range is fantastic, the licences they hold are terrific and, of course, their reputation is second to none," said Tompkins. "I am very much looking forward to embracing my new role."

Martin Withers, group commercial director, added: "Nikki's past experience made her the ideal candidate for our head of product and marketing position, and we have no doubt that she will prove to be invaluable as we look to build on our success in 2011."
