Spearmark has revealed a new line of child safe lighting called Rise & Shine.
There are currently two designs available - Disney Princess and Toy Story - both of which aim to teach youngsters about bedtime routines by copying the Disney characters.
The sleep-time routine trainers feature a 3D figure of a Disney Princess in castle, or Buzz Lightyear in a space rocket. A rotating mechanism - operated by a 24-hour digital timer - changes the scene from a peaceful slumber to an awake pose when it's time to get up.
Each also doubles up as a night light.
The Disney Princess Rise & Shine is currently available in B&Q with other listings pending, while the Toy Story version is due to hit stores from December. Both are priced at £24.99
"As a father myself I know how difficult it can be to get children into a sleep-time routine," said Alex Bloom, commercial director at Spearmark. "Our sleep-time routine trainers help to make bedtimes a positive experience and help youngsters and their parents enjoy a good night's sleep."
