Hy-Pro International is teaming up with FIFA to produce a range of products for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The deal includes worldwide distribution, with the line including footballs, play balls, stress balls, water bottles, football accessories, goals and training aids.
"Thisis an amazing opportunity for a UK company to be so involved with the largest of all global sports events," said Atul Shah, Hy-Pro MD. "The World Cup unites the entire world in the beautiful game, and we get to be a part of that. Of course, we have had years of experience in these events through England and the FA, but this is different."
Hy-Pro has been producing an extensive product range for every major English football club for over a decade. For much of this period, it has also manufactured a wide range of England branded goods under the FA licence.
More recently, it has expanded into continental Europe, partnering with Barcelona and Juventus in their soccer school programme and also working with UEFA on Champions League items.
