Spreadshirt has added Marvel Entertainment and its Captain America franchise to its licensing business.
Printing merchandise on demand and under licence is a key element of the firm's Marketplace offering. The e-commerce platform enables brands to sell ideas across a wide range of merchandise, while staying within copyright laws and brand guidelines.
The range - which launches with Captain America designs - is available via the platform's marketplace and shortly through the Spreadshirt Amazon shop.
The deal with Marvel will also include further characters from upcoming movies such as Guardians of the Galazy and Marvel's The Avengers 2.
"We're really proud that Spreadshirt can offer brands like Marvel the most efficient way to publish its ideas on merchandising," said Philip Rooke, CEO of Spreadshirt. "By leveraging print on demand technology, passionate Marvel fans can buy Captain America and other merchandise, anywhere in the world.
"We're delighted to be working with Marvel and its avid fans everywhere. This isn't just a one off opportunity either; Marvel can use Spreadshirt's platform to continue to create new ideas for fans to buy and wear."
