Multi-channel clothing commerce platform, Spreadshirt saw its business grow across all sectors in 2011, with 43 per cent revenue growth year on year.

The firm - which lets consumers create, buy and sell personalised apparel - saw European revenue grow by 26 per cent and North American revenue by 109 per cent.

Global revenue was up to EUR 32.3 million in 2011, compared to EUR 24.9 million in 2010. Revenue is anticipated to reach EUR 64 million in 2012, while a second North American factory will open in Las Vegas.

"The Spreadshirt platform is an exciting concept that changes the clothing market for consumers and businesses," said Philip Rooke, the firm's CEO. "Our 2011 figures reflect the increasing success of our role in e-commerce and customisation.

"Consumer involvement in content creation and the impact of gamification, means consumers now expect high levels of participation and response from brands. Our easy to use technology makes Spreadshirt well-placed to capitalise on these trends through 2012, especially in the UK."
