Brendan Lynch, finalist from the 2012 series of The Great British Bake Off, visited Ethos International’s stand at Spring Fair yesterday (Sunday 3rd) to celebrate the launch of its new bakeware and food preparation range.
Lynch made the final of the third series of the BAFTA-winning BBC2 programme which was watched by over 7.2 million people.
Ethos International has worked alongside television producers, Love Productions, to create an initial range of 43 bakeware and food preparation items under The Great British Bake Off brand.
The items have been developed in consultation with and tested by the home economists from the television series to maximise their usability and performance.
The bakeware is manufactured in the UK from British steel and features a premium 'Teflon Select' non-stick interior ensuring optimum baking performance and durability. It is guaranteed for ten years. The embossed logo and coil coated cream exterior co-ordinate with the other items in The Great British Bake Off range. The packaging takes its inspiration from 1940s travel posters.
The format of The Great British Bake Off television series has been sold in many foreign territories such as the USA, France, Australia, Ireland and Norway.
In the UK over 600,000 books have been sold and gifting, stationery and calendar ranges were launched in 2012. Series 4, comprising ten 60-minute episodes, is planned for summer 2013.
