The new launch is the third installment in the popular Infinity franchise that sees renowned Disney characters such as Marvel Superheroes brought to life in videogame settings.

Disney Infinity 3.0 now delivers three Star Wars Playsets: one set in the timeline of Episodes I to III, the second during the original trilogy and the third scheduled to hit retailers this winter and based on the upcoming title Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Further play-sets in the new line will include a Disney Pixar Play Set based on Inside Out and a Marvel Play Set featuring Hulkbuster Iron Man, Ultron and more.

The new title will also feature an enhanced Toy Box with new multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Games, Toy Box Speedway and Toy Box Takeover, while classic characters such as Mickey and Minnie, Mulan and Olaf will be available to fans and youngsters.

“Disney Infinity is the only game where fans can play with Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters together in one experience,” said James Pitaro, president of Disney Interactive.

“We worked closely with LucasFilm to deliver an authentic Star Wars game experience, featuring some of the most iconic stories and characters from the past, present and future.”

Disney Infinity 3.0 will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and iOS Android.
