Starbucks and SSP form partnership

150 Starbucks stores to open within European travel market.

Starbucks continues to increase its international store growth, giving licensing rights to SSP, the operater of food and beverage brands in train stations and airports.

The agreement will see SSP open some 150 Starbucks branded stores within the European travel market, including the exclusive segments of France, Germany and the UK.

Howard Schultz, chairman, president and CEO of Starbucks, said: "It provides us with a strong platform to further expand the Starbucks brand across Europe.

"SSP's experience and leadership position gives us great confidence that together we can deliver the unique Starbucks Experience to more travelers in Europe."
