Nickelodeon and its licensees within the stationery and back to school sector will be rolling out a wide range of product for some of its key brands this autumn.
International Greetings is currently enjoying success with its new new of Dora the Explorer stationery. Sales doubled between 2007 and 2008, with double digit growth expected in 2009.
Toys R Us has secured three lines of the new collection including pocket money items. All major retailers in the UK are now stocking Dora stationery including Tesco, WH Smith and Asda.
Meanwhile, Alligator Books is launching a range of Dora activity books for back to school 2009, which will be available in retalers such as TRU, Wilkinson's, M&S and Asda. Finally for Dora, Vogue International has lunchwear for back to school.
A number of licensees will be launching iCarly product within the stationery sector. International Greetings will roll out a back to school line in September including a stationery bag, pencil cases and a deluxe stationery set; Alligator Books will have activity books and accessories, including a poster book and a fact file; and Pyramid Posters will have posters, badges and stickers for back to school.
Alpa has just refreshed its range of Spongebob Squarepants stationery, which is currently part of the six-week nationwide promotion in Claire's Accessories. The line includes notebooks, scribble sets, notebooks, journals and art sets. Spongebob is Alpa's number one licence and the range has enjoyed strong year on year growth.
In addition, Vogue International has just refreshed the design of its Spongebob lunchwear range, which is launching in retailers including Next, The Entertainer and Sainsbury's.
Finally, Apla is launching a H20 stationery collection this September for back to school, while Pyramid Posters will have posters, badges and stickers.
