With Shaun the Sheep one of Aardman's strongest properties in Australia and New Zealand, the company has appointed Stella Projects to build the brand even further.
The firm will be representing the property across a wide range of gifts, apparel, homewares and food.
Shaun the Sheep averages a 48 per cent audience share on ABC2, and has shifted over 300,000 DVD sales to date. Australian fans also make up the largest proportion of Shaun's online fanbase, accounting for over 250,000 of the character's 1.2 million Facebook fans.
"Shaun has gone from strength to strength in Australia and New Zealand and it was important for us to find an agency that could represent the brand on our behalf, securing new licensees and partners for the property who would be the right fit," said Helen Neno, Aardman's international licensing manager.
