Australia's Sticky Pictures has partnered with production, distribution and rights management firm Kid Glove for a new kids' TV show.
The companies have developed animated comedy series Perry Parka Polar Possum, which is targeted at six to nine year olds.
Where others see danger, folly or a crazy idea, Perry leaps into action.
The series has been created by kids' author, illustrator and cartoonist James Proimos and award-winning producer, illustrator and animator Carlson Bull.
“Perry Parker Polar Possum is a remarkable character. He’s an innocent optimist who sees the world through rose-colored glasses and gives everyone the benefit of the doubt,” said Kid Glove President Brenda Wooding.
“We are thrilled to be working with Sticky Pictures on this creative new comedy and look forward to delivering a series worthy of the Sticky reputation for high quality entertainment for children.”
Donna Andrews, CEO and Partner of Sticky Pictures, added: “I’m in love with Perry Parka Polar Possum. The series is quirky, funny, very charming and indeed like no other. It is a joy to be working with the talented James Proimos, Carlson Bull and the team at Kid Glove.”
