Studio 100 bolsters Vicky the Viking licensing programme

New toy range will be shown at Nuremberg; partners also being sought in other categories.

Studio 100 is looking to bolster the licensing programme for Vicky the Viking across Europe.

A new CGI TV series is due to be broadcast in 2014. Partners already on board include ZDF (Germany), TF1 and Tiji (France), Ten and ABC (Australia), ORF (Austria), TSR (Switzerland), MTV Junior (Finland), Pop TV (Slovenia), Télé Québec (Canada) and TRT/Cocuk (Turkey).

There are more than 30 licensees on board for Vicky, with Studio 100 having struck a key deal with Simba Dickie. The firm has the rights to launch a wide range of toys and games based on the new CGI series for the GAS region.

The first products will be on show at Nuremberg International Toy Fair.

Meanwhile, partners on board for the Classic Vicky programme across GAS and Benelux include McDonald's, Panini, Ravensburger, Ferrero and Logoshirt among others.

Studio 100 is now looking for partners in key categories such as publishing, toys and games, back to school and stationery among others for the new Vicky 3D show.
