Studio 100 grows Heidi brand across Turkey

Studio 100 has detailed its expansion plans for its popular girls’ property, Heidi across Turkey.

The firm has signed a new licensing agent in Gamma Media, a team that boasts strong expertise with over 25 years’ industry experience within the entertainment sector.

Gamma Media will now plan to manage retail events and promotions for Heidi across the region.

Esra Ustuner, licensing manager at Gamma Media, said: “We are honoured to have been named as the licensing agents for Heidi in Turkey.

“Heidi has already achieved great awareness in the territory and will continue to grow with the new animation and investment of Studio 100. We are sure we will be able to develop a broad licensing programme with the help of Studio 100’s team.

“We look forward to working with the Heidi brand to build and execute outstanding licensing programmes in Turkey.”

The Heidi brand has been further strengthened via a partnership with Famosa who will launch a line of Heidi collectable figures, followed by publishing, apparel and live events.

The new ranges will be distributed through Adel, who has developed extensive marketing plans to support the launch across magazine and TV adverts.

Christophe Drevet, international consumer products director at Studio 100, said: “It has been great to see Heidi reaching an increasing number of fans in Turkey with a growing broadcast footprint and licensing proposition.
