Studio 100 Media has secured a deal with Turkey's kids' network Minika for its new animation, Woodlies.
The agreement gives Minika free television and VOD rights for the series over a five-year period. Targeted at six to 11 year olds, the hybrid series combines 3D and 2D animation, and tackles environmental and ecological issues.
"We are very excited to offer one of our brand new programmes to Minika," commented Patrick Elmendorff, MD at Studio 100 Media. "Children and their families will find the antics of the Woodlies educational, funny and irresistible."
Mahmut Ipsirli, general manager at Minika Kids Network, added: "The acquisition of Woodlies enables Minika to fulfill its mission to meet kids and best content, and also strengthens Minika's position as the leading kids network."
