Studio 100 tucks into more food deals for Maya the Bee

Studio 100 has secured a number of new deals within the food category for its Maya the Bee brand.

First up, Rio Licensing - the firm's agent in Russia - has signed up confectionary company Perfetti Van Melle, which owns Chupa Chups.

The group will design ranges of lollipops, chocolate balls and fruit candies featuring Maya on the Chupa Chups and Fruitella brands. Products will be launched by the end of 2012/Q1 2013.

Meanwhile, Belgian Ice Cream Group will introduce Maya ice cream in the CEE market in Q2 2013. Currently sold in Benelux, the product will be released in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Finally, Dairy4Fun has become the dairy partner for the property. A product range launch is being planned for the beginning of 2013 in key territories including Croatia, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland among others.
