The Super Wings UK licensing programme is taking flight with the first wave of licensees now detailed by brand owners, Alpha Animation.

Under a swathe of deals brokered by Rockpool Licensing, checking in first is Aykroyd and TDP Licensing who will be delivering nightwear, underwear and swimwear.

These are followed by BM Fashions for daywear, Roy Lowe and Sons for socks, Dreamtex for bedding and bathroom textiles and MV Sports for wheeled toys and ride-ons.

Vickie O’Malley, MD, Rockpool Licensing, said: “Our take-off with Super Wings has been perfect. We are very proud to have these well-respected and admired frequent flyers on board and are looking forward to soaring to new heights in 2018.

“All puns aside, we are delighted wit the enthusiastic response to Super Wings from the UK licensing community. Super Wings’ impressive performance on Cartoonito and Tiny Pop, along with the amazing job that mark and the team at Alpha Toys have done with the UK launch has generated a great buzz around the trade.

“We have high expectations for Vegas and look forward to announcing more great partnerships over the coming months.”

Antoine Erligmann, VP media, TV and consumer products at Alpha Group, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Rockpool Licensing who has been able to bring on board renowned licensing partners in key categories over a short period of time.

“Our partnership, great performances with our UK TV broadcast partners and the support of our UK toy division, is taking the Super Wings brand to the next level.”
