GLM has revealed plans to launch Surtex Asia, a new trade fair which will aim to meet the growing demands in the territory for surface design for product development.
The show will take place from August 25th to 27th 2013, at the Kerry Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai.
Surtex Asia will feature more than 50 top textile design studios from the UK, Europe, North America, South America and Japan. It is likely to attract more than 1,500 manufacturers from China, South East Asia and the Middle East.
"Surtex Asia offers a new opportunity for the world of surface design, and we're pleased to provide a platform for the expansion of this thriving industry," said Charles McCurdy, GLM's president and CEO. "We are launching Surtex Asia as part of GLM's strategy of supporting our markets wherever and whenever it's most beneficial and effective."
