The dates have been set for next year's Surtex art and design trade show, with the organisers promising a range of improvements to celebrate the event reaching its 25th anniversary.
The show will run from May 15th to 17th 2011 at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York. GLM will be expanding the exhibition area to accommodate almost 300 companies, up from 250 this year. It is also expecting an increase on the 6,000 attendees from 41 countries who visited the event earlier this year.
"After the very successful 2010 show, we are getting requests for exhibitor space earlier than usual," said Penny Sikalis, VP of GLM and show manager. "For the 25th anniversary of Surtex next year, we are ramping up the activities and amenities in the months leading up to the show."
Sikalis urged potential exhibitors to apply early, as booth assignments are made pending space availability and returning exhibitors given first refusal.
Registration for attendees is due to open in the autumn. Click here to visit the official Surtex website.
