Taffy signs Atlantyca in Italy

New licensing division to handle three of firm's most popular brands in the territory.

Just weeks after announcing the launch of a new dedicated licensing division, Milan-based Atlantyca Entertainment has been named as the exclusive licensing and merchandising agent in Italy for three of Taffy Entertainment's key brands.

Atlantyca will be handling Code Lyoko, Growing Up Creepie and Dive Olly Dive (pictured) in the territory, exploring opportunities in key categories including toys and games, apparel, accessories, collectables, stationery and packaged goods.

The new licensing division - headed by Elisa Pezzutti - currently manages all of Atlantyca's character and entertainment properties in Italy, including worldwide children's book property Geronimo Stilton.

"Taffy is one of Atlantyca's most valued partners and this is a great opportunity for both companies to expand our relationship even further," said Pietro Marietti, chairman of Atlantyca. "Similar to the key role they will play in the growth of our Geronimo Stilton brand outside of Italy, we look forward to being an equally integral part of the growth of some of Taffy's key properties in Italy."
