Talisman Licensing Australia is looking to launch a global merchandise drive around girls' swap card programme, Forever Clover.
The property launched in Melbourne in May and in a short space of time has amassed a strong following. Talisman has now been brought on board to expand Forever Clover, both in terms of global sales for the swap cards and also to develop it into other areas.
In Australia and New Zealand, Banter Toys is distributing the swap cards, and will also be developing new collections, albums, collectible tins, figurines and key chains for early 2012.
Talisman is already in discussions with global publishing groups and will reveal partners for novels, activity and novelty lines at Brand Licensing Europe in October.
Approaches are also being made to licensees in all territories to cover stationery, toys and games, puzzles, homewares, magazines and partworks, apparel and bags to launch alongside the publishing in 2012.
"Forever Clover has already proven to be such a success in the Australian market and, with its core brand values of quality and wholesomeness, we feel that with the correct approaches, this success can be replicated the world over in all appropriate categories," said Daniel Feller, MD of Talisman Licensing.
"In such a changing and difficult retail environment, a solid, quality and wholesome brand such as Forever Clover is an attractive opportunity for retailers and licensees as it promotes healthy and active girls, friendship, age appropriate dress and behaviour and sustainable materials.
"The six girls who make up the Forever Clover Club are potential role models for young girls the world over."
